Wonder if the new CEO is prepping Altera with cost cuttings and layoffs, etc. to get ready for Marvell to take over at a later date.

With PG forced out by the board, are we still going the IPO route with SR in charge or is she getting the boot too?

Intel CEO mentioned they will be selling part of stake in Altera prior to IPO. Any guesses on how much %? Is it outright majority stake up front? Who’s going to buy this sinking ship?

What do you expect?

They are shifting everything to India.

After the merger with Intel, I hope I am offered a good package.

yeah Intel is going to layoff many people in Altera : Sales/Marketing and groups that match with Intel culture....just like QUALCOMM laid off many many people from Atheros.... it is just a question of time...

What are your thoughts about this? Is it possible that Intel will go hard on us?

We are lucky that we are still growing, given how some of our competitors are doing, so - no layoffs is a good thing
