Support for Premier is getting WFR later in the month. Sales is getting their access back to control Premier - this time in DSA.
Steve Cohen may own Dell...
But he doesn 't own you. Don't give him and his cronies at the hedge funds buying up Dell the satisfaction. Stay remote!
We must start preparing the US workforce for the effects of AI – now
Unions should press companies to use AI in ways that complement rather than displace workers, and that means pushing for enhanced training to help employees work with AI. Unions should of course keep up their efforts to unionize tech... — read more
At some point clocking in and out will be back
The RTO requirements are flawed. Dell requires 3 days a week but no set amount of time in the office. That seems like a big gap in the strategy. There will be people staying an hour or two and then leaving. What will that accomplish? At some... — read more
Dell beats-thanks those filling for the 3-4 others that we fired!
We appreciate your late nights and your weekend hours without any extra pay. You will be rewarded in the future! We promise {wink}
Don't let Steve Cohen force you back to the office
Stay strong. Stay remote everyone.

RTO should be longer like Goldman Sachs 5 days a week
Three days is a nice gesture. However, I feel that we would accomplish more and provide better outcomes to Dell's customers by being in the office 5 days a week.
They are quietly firing remote workers
After 10+ years of caring about my job, terrific reviews, awards and hoping to grow my career further it is freeing to finally not give a flying s@$%. Remote and no office to go to within several hundred miles. So not "unwilling" to become hybrid try... — read more
Beginning to see a pattern
hybrids: everyone needs to do it or it won't work hybrids: how many days do i need to come in? the more the better hybrids: remotes are unproductive and bad for the Firm and my Elites hybrids: you slackers need to RTO or it will affect my... — read more
Dragging out the layoffs
The layoffs seems to be dragging out in parts rather than a one and done. I'm sure it's due to needing the support during the transition to online.. we move the needle for online and automation and then move the needle on reduction. It's a slow dance... — read more
RTO is a good decision for better productivity. Enjoying getting back to the office.
From my experience, 9 out of 10 of the remote workers weren't responsive or productive. RTO was a good decision. Time to get back to work and spend less time at home binge watching Netflix and refreshing the X feed at home when you should be... — read more
Will there actually be Bonuses? If so when?
I am wondering when bonuses are usually given. And I mean an actual monetary bonus, not some gift card BS. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if they DONT give them out this year while simultaneously bragging about record high profits… Because Dell. If... — read more
Do you remember the Great Resignation?
Remember how many people were so happy to leave their jobs for something "better?" How many of them do you think are now regretting that decision? I know people who left Dell who would give anything in return. I know this is not the best place to... — read more
When is remote/hybrid exercise?
Anyone know when specifically the March exercise is to select remote or hybrid? They don’t give a date.
Only got 1 week after getting WFR
Got wfr on a Monday and my last day on a Friday! Isn’t that odd? What Happened to 2 weeks notice?!?!
If going back to the office what are you wearing?
Yoga pants and flip-flops, or business casual?
How do the rest of you feel?
I am stressed, feel tired all the time, and have lost all my motivation. Everyone in my immediate surroundings feels the same. I drag myself to work, then I am constantly switching between panicking about being laid off, and being numb and incapable... — read more

Dell layoff package change
Just bumped into someone in Dell mentioned a rumor a Dell reducing its layoff package. Any thoughts?
Trickle WFRs worse than mass layoffs
Been through both styles of RIFs. The smaller but frequent cuts are worse than the large ones. I understand that the aim is to avoid COMMs concerns, however the prolonged worry and uncertainty pushed on staff likely causes more disruption and... — read more

Quick RTO Poll - Staying Remote or going Hybrid?
I'm staying remote but I'm actively looking for another opportunity. This heavy handed and poorly executed directive is my last straw. The lack of raises and lack of corporate vision has lead me to want to go elsewhere.
Why am I even bothering?
If I am not on a chopping block now, I will be soon. I’ll just stick strictly to completing what I am supposed to do per my job description, and put all my energy into looking for a new job. I wouldn’t even mind being paid less, for as long as I am... — read more
More layoffs - same management consulting as HPE
Two more rounds of layoffs just like HPE is expecting. HPE is using a similar management consulting firm with same strategies. A bonus restructre is also in the works.
Are bonuses going away?
Are we losing our bonus if remote?
Quiet quitting leads to quiet firing
I know many are advocating for quiet quitting, but few also warn you that it can lead to quiet firing instead of layoffs. And there's a huge difference between being fired with nothing to show for it and being laid off and receiving a severance... — read more
Do Rotationers get also get the cut?
Just curious if anyone has hears or knows if employees in rotational programs are also added to the usual rounds of layoffs. Any thoughts?
Remote won't get a bonus
I was in a meeting I wasn't meant to be with SVPs and it was disclosed that those who go remote will get dramatically reduced bonuses from this year forward. Don't go remote.

Are there more layoffs coming? It would be nice to know. What are the Dell staff hearing? Share your thoughts and opinions.
Unionize Massachusetts?
Has anyone reached out to an organizer about unionizing Franklin? It's getting unbearable. More with less, pennies for raises. No promos, no internal job postings. https://aflcio.org/
Looking for a job, what are your experiences?
I have been laid off recently. No luck so far. It seems to me that tech companies are so deep in restructuring and cuts that they are yet unsure about which profile of peeps they need to take on. The problem is that I have no luxury to be jobless for... — read more

RTO Training
We had training this week and got the messaging. Didnt need it. I like the office as I have 5 kids at home and dont need to be told I will feel energized. Just employee people with young kids they will be up that escalator lickety split.
You know what would reduced layoffs?
If we stopped hiring all the time. Every year we overhire, then layoffs happen. There have been very few hiring freezes lately, and even those were short and didn't apply to everybody. If the goal is to reduce the overall number of employees, that it... — read more
