Remote vs Hybrid

So…for anyone that was cut (my apologies, hope your ok)

Did Dell use hybrid vs remote when considering the cuts or was it just slash anyone and everyone they could?

This round was a cost cutting exercise. As a leader we were not asked to take into consideration remote or hybrid when choosing WFRs.

Remote vs Hybrid doesn't matter for this reduction, this is 100% cost cutting. Most leaders didn't much of a say, if at all in this reduction. If you live less than an hour to a main site and still chose remote, then it may affect you later. This will likely not be the last reduction this year, however, I should be the largest.

I'm remote and did not get cut (ISG Tier 2 eng)

I'm guessing it is unit/team based tbh. I have many friends that survived that are also remote.

They are slashing for the sake of cutting expenses. Tons of hybrid, remote, and (don't forget) field resources are losing their jobs.

I'm remote and I got cut...but the company would never admit if remote vs hybrid had any impact on the decisions of who got cut. That would likely open them up to liability if they were ever to admit that.
