Despite whatever person from corporate put in here earlier about this being a 1% layoff, it is in fact larger than that and is hitting services, sales, marketing & engineers. Half of my team is gone in marketing and still no coms. Your performance doesn’t matter at all, you are binary code to these execs and the 0s stay, the 1s leave. My boss was given a list of names Friday and that was that. They had no opportunity to give input which is disappointing and probably frustrating as there are plenty of low-performers that are staying. Oh well, off to greener pastures. This is just a job, there is a lot more to life than Dell He-l. I’m nervous and excited to see what’s next.

yes 1/2 will be today rest will be in 2 weeks because HR cant process that fast because of prior layoffs
This is only the first phase, they don't have enough HR people to do it all at once, this will be ongoing for a while unfortunately.
It's not small and it's across all areas of business
Will everyone be notified today? We were told that 2 engineers from our team will be impacted. 1 has been already today, is it different depending on geos?
This is major layoff. Hearing from people affected, it is a significant layoff that cuts across orgs.
If you were impacted please relate the division/product/location?
Are the people who got laid off or are on a third potential layoff list having a hard time assessing links in the restructure email and certain programs? Worried for my husband.
Myself and 3 others impacted today in ISG on the team. It is not going to be "tiny"
ISG got hit. So did Services.
There wasn't even an email about it, that's how small it is
