Thread regarding Corning Inc. layoffs

Looks like more people getting spingboarded off the boat this week (at least a few in my division and others I heard about).

Yes, you are wrong. Corning is cyclical. You will get comfortable and then you will be dismissed. Unless of course you are a political chameleon with solid fallacio skills. Don't forget to cup the ba--s. 👌🏻

With respect to the company, I am now "on the outside looking in" and it appears that the company is doing quite well. The stock is soaring. Mass layoffs have ended and the good times are back. The company will ride the Artificial Intelligence wave to new highs. I wish that I could get back in and enjoy the party. Am I wrong?

Springboard is the d-mbest name I've ever heard . The only concern they have is spring boarding as much cash as they can in the senior leadership pockets

Drip, Drip, Drip as people are shown to the door and upper level management is no place to be seen or heard. They don’t have the courage to face employee questions.

Which division/group? I know in CPT there seems to be a few rightsized every couple of months.
