The 10% RIF will perhaps put TD on the right track to win back and shine again. Who really knows ? RIF is a common strategy to get lighter and quicker while thinking and acting ? And often, it works well. People who are invited to leave should not... — read more
Only when the cupboard is bare…
The ELT will stay has long as they are able to make $$$ on the backs of those RIF’d time after time. But please do remember: “Teradata Cares”.
Salary increase for October is pushed back to March
Just heard a rumor that as part of our new cost-cutting strategy, the planned salary increase for October will be delayed until March and this will be announced during the all-hands meeting.
SM, CB resign
Please resign. With Teradata on your resume, you lack a compelling story for your next employer. Once this role is over, you might only be left with living off the interest from your CDs, having misappropriated funds from Teradata. It’s disappointing... — read more
10% of staff to be pushed out the door to save $15 million this year.
In other words, we’re losing 10% of the company just to pay SM’s salary for the year. Not a good tradeoff. He’ll keep smiling, keep failing, and keep cutting while he keeps collecting an inflated paycheck.
As if restructuring plan is going to save us
Without a long-term strategy to at least keep us afloat, another 10% cuts in workforce will solve nothing. Especially now when many competent and talented people are already gone. From now on the question is only how long until we touch the bottom... — read more
Resign SM
Your time is up. Return some of you undeserved exorbitant compensation too. You can’t even be honest about the ship sinking. Embarrassing
When is the 9-10% RIF starting?
I’m guessing most of the RIF will happen this year based on the Q2 report. Does anyone know when it is starting?
Shell Game Is Over For TDC
The analysts are finally catching on. SM full of be on new logos. Says they will double in Q3. From maybe 1 to 2! Embarrassing for everyone involved.
I Called it on all of my replys - even with new logos across geographies - right?
In all of the replies from Aug 5th to the "good news" post I knew this day was coming. I was with Teradata for over 6 years and was blindsided by my Solution Engineering Manager and Director on Nov. 1st. The SE's on these major accounts not only knew... — read more
Time to wake up Board Of Directors from your SM Slumber
SM and his clown show LT has lost the locker room and cannot regain it what ever he does or says. No one internally believes him or any of his LT. Your BOD experiment to hire a non-experienced CEO with little more than to say the word "cloud" and... — read more
Stock drops below $25. The slow march towards oblivion accelerates
Another 10% reduction in force on the way. Existing customers leaving in droves. No new products. No new clients. Revenue YoY continuing to drop. No reason for hope. Someone who really doesn't care anymore and is just waiting to get riffed... — read more
The literal definition of Decimation

Wow. Worse than we thought
So the results are almost all negative quarter to quarter and 2023 to 2024. Ten percent of the remaining survivors to be laid off. What company in their right mind would buy anything from Teradud? It’s going to be a brutal Q3.
$436 million versus $462 million
Can’t spin continued revenue decline in a growth market. All competitors growing by double digits.
How are things today?
Q2 results are bad. Anything related to layoffs?
2nd quarter results
Ahh, cut another 9-10% of the company to reduce expenses. Recurring revenue continues to decline, as does total ARR and cash flow / free cash flow. But hey, at least that leadership team will get more equity to sell.
A very "interesting" time to introduce BlueSky...
Anyone else find it so too?! Lawsuits... ever bad performance... a very uncertain future... time for BlueSky.
We will be alright 👍🏽
August 5th will be fine, there will be lots of good news. Trust me 😀.
what announcements coming in all-hands ?
any idea?
ESPP - is anyone buying?

Stock Flat for 15 Years
Talk about underperforming- in a high growth market TDC is $31. It has not really moved in a sustainable way for 15 years! How can the ELT pretend “the strategy is working” - they should resign and return their RSUs. What a sad, depressing company... — read more
When did you lose respect for TD and its leadership?

PwC Migrating Teradata to Cloud Native

Sorry guys, for whomever gets booted today, whether one or many
