It’s crazy that some folks have been at TD for a decade and still don't know how to or bother to do their jobs. They ignore meetings and take forever to respond to emails, if they don't outright ignore them as well. Meanwhile, the rest of us have to put in 10+ hour days to make up for it. And somehow they all survive every single layoff round. How?

They claim to use AI to summarize meeting info and even use AI to make their decisions on tasks they need to manage..
My experience has been that this is how most companies in this area operate.
People either don't care about doing their jobs or don't know how and are embarrassed to admit it. They'll refer you to an endless cycle of resources who also cannot help you with anything and then they'll be surprised when eventually entire departments get laid off or the entire company fails.
But they're often nice though. They're the most pleasant, least helpful incompetents you'll ever meet.
What has DS brought to TD other than chaos?

Probably moonlighting somewhere else while getting a paycheck from Terrordata.
Those people who don't respond, ignore the difficult situations and questions, but can through around all the textbooks terms, Those are the ones promoted. I don't see how people get away with it. The accountability from middle management all the way up is lacking.
It is not what you know but who you know.
because they see and incompetent and morally corrupt ELT and think why should I bother after a decade of hard work and dedication put into this company. if you are putting in 10+ hrs a day then you clearly care and that is to be applauded but the rest of us realise the ELT are taking the p**s (and a lot of money) and are not going to enable that anymore than they can.
don't put effort into to endorsing this lot, go and work for a decent company - for your sake!
