I was part of the 2022 layoffs and the worst part of it was the stress because I was unprepared for how ruthless and cheep that TD could be to me after 24 years of commitment on my part. My blood was orange.

Now, I feel so blessed. I learned how toxic TD was by working in a new environment. I learned how backwards TD was by working in a startup. I have wonderful, empathic managers and look forward to my day.

I am sorry that TD ship is sinking and that so many of my old friends are impacted, but I hope and I think it is likely that you all will find something even more rewarding.

Layoffs occurred in early Jan 2022. Several were just about to board a plane to SKO when they got the call not to attend. One was even at the airport and the ticket was cancelled on them and thats how they found out. There will be more cuts. December will be on their calendar's to cut more

Global layoffs usually occur once per year in October-November and it’s been like that for the past 5 years at least. So we should be done for this year. Very small layoffs could happen any time i guess.

This has been going on for almost a decade. It is not over. Only way to make numbers when you have nothing to offer is to Layoff associates.

Over? That’s pretty funny. It’s not over. It’s never over. As Teradata continues its slide into irrelevance, this is the new normal
