I don’t have another job lined up. I have some savings, and getting the package would allow me to have a few months off. I'll just give myself a break and then start looking for a job. I just know that I can’t stay here anymore. Working in a company that has no future is deeply demoralizing. Just collecting a paycheck is not enough, at least for me.

Me too, I hope it's soon
Getting out of- good idea
Using the words Teradata and lucrative in the same sentence - denial
It's time to get out. Soon it's going to go real bad. I'm talking complete shut-down of travel, closure of offices, customers exiting faster and a complete drop off the gartner chart
Good move - Working at Teradata is like staying in an abusive relationship. Get out and find something better.

Line up, line up! The queue to get out of here is long. Toxic management, incompetant ELT, customers that are leaving in droves and revenue has dried up. It's little wonder everyone is ready to leave. Whoever is left, can you turn the lights off?
You and everyone else who works at Teradata
You mean the magical leaving package ? the golden parachute from a company that’s circling the drain. we can almost hear the fanfare as they roll out the red carpet, ensuring you leave with just enough to enjoy a few months of blissful unemployment.
Why are you so certain about the package being lucrative?
