We're hiring and returning to growth. The market loves ... Oh, wait.

Congratulations, to the OpenText Chairman of the Board, the Board of Directors and the clown show known as the ELT.

The stock price is below $20.

It is time for the stockholders demand accountability. Jenkins, Bell, Muhi, and the rest of the leadership gang to dry up and blow away.

How soon before the price hits $15?

Stock in complete free fall, now I'm really worried for more future layoffs

I was hired last August, and my RSUs are basically nothing at this point. I'm really disappointed with how this company is run, how/who they're hiring. Most of all, I'm seeing more contractors and offshoring. This company needs to innovate, and I don't see that happening here. I'm done here, I'll start applying elsewhere. Good luck to you guys

How much Intel's stock is owned by Trump

It's a serious question. I want to invest in Intel and my current thinking is that he'll make an effort to keep the stock appreciating. My logic may be off but I kind of have a feeling. I have been wrong many times before and this is case is no different but I'd be willing to risk a small amount to go down this path. I'd be willing to lose all money so I'll probably just sink all into Intel options and yolo it.

Thoughts? Feel free to ridicule me as well as I find my own line of thinking both stupid and funny, but it is what it is.

Executives Tout AI Job Cuts for Market Gains

CEOs now openly discuss AI-induced workforce reductions, a stark contrast to previous sanitized corporate layoff announcements. Executives use this brash language to signal AI commitment to investors. Such statements often boost company stock prices significantly. This trend reflects a shift in executive behavior and reduced worker bargaining power. The public posturing can also lead to threats against company leaders.

If history is a teacher, we should look to the past to predict the future. Unless "this time is different."

I don't think this run up has much more to go. Maybe a little, but it's a lot of risk, especially after seeing how quickly it can drop. I started working at Micron (Boise) in 2004 and just recently quit. I remember looking at the stock price history after I started working there and looking at the run up to 2001 and thinking "of course it was going to come crashing down." Now, I want all of you to look at Micron stock now, and set the timeline to MAX. Compare where it is now to where it was in 2001. even if you adjust the chart to inflation, it still shows a massive bubble. All I'm saying is I wouldn't be long on this stock. I'm predicting a bubble burst in October AT THE LATEST. We'll see if I'm right.

VZ Stock will never see $75 per share

Dan will never get stock price to $75. Verizon is $175 billion in debt, paying $8-$9 billion per quarter in interest payments. Not only that, technology is moving fast, which means the next telco displacing newcomer is waiting on the wings. Verizon is paying today for 20 years of bad investments. No amount of inflation will save them from bad debt and investments, especially since cellular plan prices have gone down and increased data to unlimited. If you adjust today’s telco charges to inflation, not good for Verizon, even if it helps the debt burden.

Investor Day

What a load of Rahul, no growth till 2029, that's a massive 12 years after the birth of DXC, and 6 years after Rahul took over, another 3 years away from now. Rahul thinks his swung another $80 million in pay but Wall Street is never going to buy it that far into the future. Watch the share price at $4.

FanDuel Layoffs Boost Flutter Entertainment Stock Price

FanDuel implemented organizational changes, resulting in staff layoffs across various departments. The exact number of affected employees is unconfirmed but could be in the hundreds. Roles cut include middle-management positions within both sportsbook and casino operations. Flutter Entertainment's share price surged significantly after the layoff announcement. This action follows similar workforce reductions by other gaming companies that also saw stock bumps.

Employee stock purchase

Glad to see BD has finally allowed an employee stock purchase program. I was a J&J employee for about 10 years and purchased stock. It was a nice incentive. Held it for years and made a nice profit rolling dividend long after I left. With the current price of BD stock buy low. It has to go up sometime. Will you be buying?

Anyone else buying the stock?

I know this is for layoffs but just curious if anyone else is buying the stock? I got a few hundred shares this morning because it seems to have reached an all time low. I think we have good products and I can’t figure out why it’s dropped so much. I’m wondering what other people are thinking? Maybe I’m completely wrong and this stock just keeps dropping but I thought Enrique was hired to raise the share price. We lost enough value under Mr. Shock the World.

Not an employee but……

What the actual f-k is going on with the stock price in this company? This absolute failure of a management team has driven the market cap down to $38B. That is absolutely insane at how poorly it’s performing. Is management really this d-mb? At this point it seems like they just want it to go lower and lower. I couldn’t imagine working for this company and just watching the value constantly decrease. Your work is just meaningless at this point.

Gird your loins

It seemed like the appropriate phrase to start the week.

Or every week.

Stock up on ginger ale or the electrolyte replacement of your choice whichever keeps you hydrated and soothed under pressure/distress.

Show up for yourself most of all then you can put your head down with a clear conscience. Be present for the ones that you love.
