Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Remote layoffs

If I am a grade 16 remote based employee should I be concerned about eventual layoff? Not a people leader.

Remote employee, 10+ years at USB, grade 15 was laid off, received a notification that listed the 'grades' impacted, all were 14, 15, 16. With the statement that roles would be 'reviewed and posted at lower job grades, in a hub city."

Not sure if that means you are a target, just sharing what my RIF letter stated.

There is no way a level 16 is this dense. You didn't get that grade not knowing how to navigate the company.

Completely honest a grade 16 with no directs will raise a red flag if they look at spanning control. Doesn’t mean you’ll def get laid off but will be a red flag. Just make sure your manager has your back and you’re invaluable

Did you get an ecard from GK? If so, then you are totally safe.
