If I am a grade 16 remote based employee should I be concerned about eventual layoff? Not a people leader.

Remote employee, 10+ years at USB, grade 15 was laid off, received a notification that listed the 'grades' impacted, all were 14, 15, 16. With the statement that roles would be 'reviewed and posted at lower job grades, in a hub city."
Not sure if that means you are a target, just sharing what my RIF letter stated.
There is no way a level 16 is this dense. You didn't get that grade not knowing how to navigate the company.
Completely honest a grade 16 with no directs will raise a red flag if they look at spanning control. Doesn’t mean you’ll def get laid off but will be a red flag. Just make sure your manager has your back and you’re invaluable
I have seen more Hybrid people getting laid off than remote. Just saying ...
Did you get an ecard from GK? If so, then you are totally safe.
It depends. Are you exceeds expectations? If so, I would not lose any sleep.
Dude, you are done. Should never have left the office. You are replaceable with anyone cheaper in India and they are in the office
Oh man...yeah..it's over for you for sure.
Currently non planned in my area. We would be sc--wed if we let all remote people go.
