Exempt/NonExempt Change for FE and CM

Change announced as of 4/27/2026 @ 1:00pm EST

Our departmental groups have been chatting about this potential since the beginning but the info finally dropped. That group is just but one of the many departments being squeezed to absolute death with due dates and high expectations of the perpetual ‘pull-in’ cycle of doom.

At the very least, we could look forward to being appropriately compensated via overtime. With that having been taken away as soon as Friday, I ponder how many people will leave prior to the handoff. Likely stick around for the ‘retention bonus’.

Wild a-s info but sadly it’s been expected for a while now.

We still have a couple days left, who the he-l knows what other last minute thing they may pull out of their a-s.

Godspeed ya’ll.

Exception to RTO

Things I learned today. We have 3 employees with a FTO designation. Never once been to the office in the 19 months since it was mandated for us. They say the RTO mandate was never intended for them. Their lives have been more difficult and they've faced more challenges than the rest of us. It gets better. They are part of some loose knit group who conveniently believe minority women cannot be their best unless they work from home. It's important for their children to see them as they set the standard for their coworkers. I have questions, but the most pressing is, how is it I get warned twice about a 15 minute blip on the presence report, and this concerted effort to thwart RTO exists for 19 months? Make me understand.

Will Monday Jan 26 be exempted from in office reporting?

Most ppl impacted by snow received an email on Monday Jan 26 that in office policy will be relaxed this week..... Only to receive another email that in office policy is back in full effect starting Today Tuesday Jan 27.

So will Monday Jan 26 be exempted from in office reporting? Will we only have to go into office 2 days this week instead of 3?
