Brutal next week
Since earnings announcement is next Friday, have a feeling it’s going to get nasty bc analysts will definitely ask about “headcount” and I think last time they asked, Jane or mark said we won’t know until next quarter aka this Friday.
Layoffs clarification
Because I see lots of misinformation here: I have been through restructuring at another large US bank: I was contacted by the senior ED of the team and he shared that I will be moved to a different sub-team. My manager was aware but was not on... — read more
Is this silly to resign now?
I am on my last leg. I am very competent with my job but the leadership is so toxic and every day is soul crashing. My colleague advise me to wait a couple of months but I am not sure if the suffer is worth it. Seeking advice and thank you.
Irony
Logged into my virtual desktop today and realized - aaa it is much faster now, Citi have installed new CPUs for us. But then I saw that the CPU was running at 50+% constantly - and then checked and realized they also installed a mouse/app tracking... — read more

Overall what does 3, 4, 4 rating means? Is client and franchise outcomes considered in the overall rating? And does this means overall 4 rating?
Citi has turned into a toxic workplace
We have to deal with an unhealthy, stressful environment every day. Layoffs are starting to look like the better option at this point.
End of the year review - who can see it?
Hi guys, Just wondering, when you apply for internal jobs, will the new hiring manager see the rating and comments made by your old manager? Thank you very much.
An odd following on this board, a following of instigators.
There are some who seem to thrive off of the panic and fear mongering here. They can’t seem to stomach the thought of others seeking to leave the company but truly seem to enjoy letting you know that you are 100% at Citi’s mercy with absolutely no... — read more
interviews started
Slowly the hiring started back in market. Looking to jump from this chaos.
Next week
Should I assume that next week is safe? I've been going through posts here once again and most predictions on the start of layoffs mention either January 15 or some subsequent date. I know it doesn't make much difference in the grand scheme of... — read more

HR is the worse.

So once someone hears of a raise, that means they're safe?

My Rating 3
I am hired into Citi and working in a project for past 2 years. After joining I got a rating 3. since I was new (within 6 months) I accepted the rating. I did lot of work for past 1 year and today I got the rating as 3. I am surprised. The project is... — read more
Separation Pay Question

Playing games and dragging feet on severance and benefits. Don’t be afraid to talk to a lawyer.
I’m sure that some of the posts are true and that Citi is dragging their feet on paying out on severance or pending benefits. Hoping that frustration will cause a person to take just any job at a much lower wage or just drop it. Once a job is... — read more
