I know I’m safe from here on out, but it doesn’t make me feel any better. We lost several good people, and their absence will be deeply felt. Now, the rest of us will probably be expected to pick up their work, which is absolute bullsh-t, if you ask... — read more
Those Left
Welcome to an epidemic of quiet quitting. Good luck getting the employees left to do anything outside their job descriptions and working hours. The morale, engagement, respect and trust are gone! This entire process has been so poorly managed. They... — read more
Brian Sikes Is on a Power Trip
I truly believe this executive team is evil. When DMac was there, you felt connected to him and like everything would be fine even when times were tough. Sikes is a different animal. He wants to show his power at all costs while repeating the fake... — read more
This company does not deserve any of us
This is not the way to treat employees. This is not the way to lay off people. This is definitely not the way to run the company. Sc--w them and their greed. They brought so much anxiety and stress upon all of us, and now they’ve been threatening so... — read more

TGRC Team huddle
We just had a all TGRC team call with Brian Cincera leading. He read an obviously prepared statement that all of us still have jobs (for now). HR was present. Said next week we'll find out more about what our roles are. Meeting was very cold. ... — read more
News for EMEA?!
No. No news for us yet. Apparently it needs to go through the European works council and then what?! What does that even mean and when will we know if we're fired or not?
Everyone should go on strike
This is not how you treat people and everyone should know. Go on strike, in the headoffices, in the plants. Who says next year they won’t do this to you who can stay today? Or in 2 months to the person who is not located in the ‘first round’... — read more
Wide awake
All I can do is sit here, hitting refresh over and over, even though I know nothing substantial will be posted before tomorrow. I’m a nervous wreck, and I know I’ll stay this way until the week is over - and that's assuming this week truly brings an... — read more

For those laid off - DO NOT feel like this is your fault.
This embarrassment of a company has pulled off the impossible and fired numerous high performers across the board. I cannot believe how random this process looks from an observer. Please do your best to not let this change how you view yourself and... — read more
Am I safe?
My team was impacted by layoffs today. Can I assume I’m safe from this point on? I doubt they would split layoffs within a single team across multiple days, but it would be reassuring to have confirmation. Our manager hasn’t provided any updates on... — read more
Layoffs should be completed by the end of the week?
From what I’m reading here and hearing from folks, some departments are done, but company-wide layoffs will continue until the end of the week. Please confirm if you know for a fact this is true. Also share, if you can, the info about departments for... — read more
R&D hit hard
By my count we’re more at 20% laid off, not 5%. All this because the family got hella rich off of Covid, and all the price fixing schemes that came from it, that were now getting sued for. Can’t make it up.
Not over yet
I was just in a meeting where are manager said all layoffs for our own dept are completed and everyone present is staying. But that we may here about more layoffs in other parts of the company throughout the week.

DT&D Being Decimated
Earlier this year we saw 200 Project Managers, BRM's, Group Leads, and others, lose their jobs in the DT&D space. Today we're seeing more in Service Delivery, Networking/Infra, and TGRC. "...we must empower you with the modern systems and tools... — read more

Wasteful spending
Just thinking about all the money we spent on a new HQ in Wichita and all the renovations in the plants completed in the name of employee engagement just to lay off those employees. 21st century business at its finest
Are there any Pattern?

Here come the cold, callous, anonymous meeting invites.
It looks like the group messaging approach used earlier this year with IT (big group calls where everyone invited is let go) will be used once again. Meeting invites have started rolling out. So much for putting people first and treating them with... — read more
Q2Cargill Team Update
Subject: Business Update That’s what you’ll be looking for, sadly. Got it in my inbox this morning.
Hiring expensive consultants to fire people
So Mckinsey’s big strategy for Cargill is to layoff people…shocker! Do they even have other recommendations? As for Cargill, this leadership has lost all credibility in front of employees.

This could have been done so much better

Meeting Invites?
How aren’t they doing this immediately? Are they really going to have people panic all week long?
Time to sell?
