Thread regarding Cargill layoffs

Brian Sikes Is on a Power Trip

I truly believe this executive team is evil. When DMac was there, you felt connected to him and like everything would be fine even when times were tough. Sikes is a different animal. He wants to show his power at all costs while repeating the fake mantra that they put people first. Bull! You put people first by having them guess if they have a job or not? Having people waking up in the middle of the night nervous to see if they got an announcement?

The timing of this and the way it's being executed is like a sick game. I bet all of them are sitting in their ivory tower enjoying the pain and suffering they are causing the minions during the time of year that's supposed to be filled with joy.

They say it's because we didn't meet our financial goals but what kind of ridiculous goals were those anyway? Did they REALLY think we would get even better numbers than during the pandemic? REALLY? Sick!

### Cargill Layoffs

You sold our lives for profit’s gain,
Left us with nothing but anger and pain.
We built your wealth, we broke our backs,
Now you cast us aside like worn-out tracks.

Your cold excuses won’t make us whole,
We’re not just numbers—we’re hearts and soul.

People seemed to be brainwashed into thinking the current profits are a loss, when the executive team/board established benchmarks that are fundamentally impossible in the current economic climate. The company was not bloated. The company has unsustainable targets that are in-line with the “capitalist growth”. It’s so sad.

Dmac bloated Cargill to inflate his ego and legacy. Then he dipped before his bad decisions would cause this. lol

Spot on, completely out of touch executive team who can’t set realistic goals and put people LAST.

Good luck overspending on office space no one wants, having a “Location Strategy” set by id--ts, and losing all of your loyal talent with years of knowledge that won’t be transferred. The good ol’ boys club reigns on.
