Thread regarding Cargill layoffs

Is this the end of the first round?

I have heard crickets so far in my org. Are there more coming tomorrow?

How much productivity is being wasted by this stupid lay off process? Almost everyone around the office is huddled together sharing news as it comes in. And it’s been flowing! Hunger games style - who will be left standing? Just tell us when it’s going to happen, so we’re not waiting around for days. And then we can start to process and get back to some work

In some places in Europe we still don't know who's leaving. Because of how laws state this needs to be handled. So no, it's not over.

Brian's email said a town hall was on Monday, so thats the only thing I'm going by. If I'm still here monday then I'm good.

Rumor is that if you didn't get a notice today, you're safe. This is just for Minneapolis based people.

I’d like to know too. They could have at least told people when the firings will end. Is it today, tomorrow, Friday? Now everyone is just walking around wondering when the next shoe will drop. How can they expect productivity in this kind of environment? Not a nice way to treat people for such a “people focused” company.
