Welcome to an epidemic of quiet quitting. Good luck getting the employees left to do anything outside their job descriptions and working hours. The morale, engagement, respect and trust are gone! This entire process has been so poorly managed. They are absolutely asking people to do more with less and I for one am not inclined to do anything extra.

Your job is a job. Focus on you, your family and your interests outside of work...not your job. If your job is what you find fulfilling, you're doing life wrong...
Yep....I am not planning to go above and beyond that's for sure, they can expect the bare minimum! I used to put so much pride in the work I do, now I literally could not care less. The only thing I want is to get the severance package, leave this company and never look back.
I can’t imagine doing a single productive thing until after the holidays. My new manager and their new leaders are in for a world of hurt and while I would normally jump in to help and contribute, hard pass. Will be waiting for direction and clear expectations and if/when someone realizes I’m not acting like an owner, they can find a way to get rid of me in the next round.
I can only agree on previous post . The family spirit and behavior is not longer there
Do yourself a favor and get down to the minimum time required to do your job. Get a side job, a second income stream. Check out the reddit group r/overemployed https://www.reddit.com/r/overemployed/
I worked 50-65 hours a week striving for promotions, exceeds ratings, and really was committed to my Cargill "Family". They let me go regardless and my compensation and bonus didn't reflect my hard work or commitment.
This is how to survive in this era of super capitalism. 40% of CEOs of Fortune 500 companies have less than 5 years (Sikes) and are trying to maximize the share price (Family money) so they can maximize their compensation. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8NYeFh2/
Also - take care of yourself. Get in nature, breath fresh air.
