I’m new to the Bank (joined mid last year) and not a manager. What does the comp process look like behind the scenes? What’s the timeline like?
Paystub....
So has anyone else noticed how they took the bank names off our paystubs!! Now just states either Bank or Bank full name. They removed my Us Bank account name and my other bank source name-- WHY????
JPMorgan now requiring all employees in office 5 days a week
In other words, we can expect this in another 6-24 months; as historically we lag every leading banks leadership by this time frame, such as 3 day in office returns, and so on. If I weren't near an office, I feel as though I'd be nervous; no real... — read more
401k match
I left the bank this past year (2024). What date does the 401k match hit? I am trying to roll over to may new plan
Layoffs
Will there be layoffs in January? If so, which areas will be subject to Cecere's Cleaver this time?
Termination Before a PIP?
My manager dislikes me. There has been some retaliatory behavior. Does U.S. Bank typically terminate people without a huge violation/reason before a PIP? I realize I’m an at will employee and COULD be- but DO they?
HSA bonus date means layoff date....
Guessing next round of layoffs will be before the HSA bonus in January, given the timing of it and Severance package changes. Thoughts?
Just waiting for USB to be hit next

Severance policy update ?
Anyone else get an email today informing us of "limited updates " but also that the overall program does not change? Seems to be very hypocritical. For a second I thought this notice was just for me.
Pension - What happens?
So anyone who has been laid off what happens to your Pension or the part of the salary they saved for you for your pension? Do you guys get that pay out? Anyone know? Was looking and it seems you need to retire to get to it. Thoughts?
And the trend continues....

Has anybody’s team been functioning properly since layoffs?
Mine is in complete disarray. We have been working really hard to compensate for all the people who were let go, and we can still barely do the job. I’m angry at myself that I’ve accepted the circumstances and have been working twice as hard, knowing... — read more
Merry Christmas!
Here’s to hoping this joke of a bank gets acquired next year, setting us all free so we can really enjoy it next year this time. Santa, if you’re reading this, that’s my wishlist. Get off your a-s and make it happen. Cheers everyone! 🍻 — read more
Merry Christmas to everyone...

HR townhall meeting
Did anyone else attend the all HR townhall last week? In the name of "transparency," Elfio will no longer use the PollEV feature so that no one can submit anonymous questions during his meetings - RIDICULOUS! Elfio and the entire HRELT are scared to... — read more

Needs Improvement Review
So. I received a "Needs Improvement" rating- after we lost employees and I had to start doing the job of multiple people. I met all of my goals and then some. So demotivating! What does this even mean? Will I get a PIP? No bonus or Merit Increase? — read more
Performance Reviews
Does anyone actually receive a “Excellent Performance” rating?
Laid Off
I was hired as an employee of talech within CBB and was part of November layoff. Seems like there are layoffs about every 6 months. I thought for sure this was never going to hit me in CBB. There were dozens of s of people impacted in CBB and what... — read more
Principal Engineers or Professional Pretenders?
The Principal Engineer title at U.S. Bank has become a running joke. It seems the job description now includes talking endlessly, managing people, selling fluff, and delegating presentations to assistants. And let’s not forget the Senior Vice... — read more
Narayan, a problematic hire significant set back to innovation
We continue to observe Amazon-style leadership within Pete’s organization, where cliques are formed, and positional power is leveraged to micromanage employees. This has led undermining of bank employees while favoring those with biased ties to... — read more
Removing Trash Cans During Cold & Flu Season
I’m not sure if all of the Hubs no longer have trash cans at the desks but the Philly area had ours yanked. Stellar money saving idea from the management team - especially during the height of cold and flu season. I’m sure no one will be leaving... — read more

Are our annual reviews going to be posted in Workday this week? I need to know if I need to be looking for a new job soon ("meets expectations") or very soon ("needs improvement"). Thanks in advance!

Any rumors about layoffs before year’s end?
It would be great to have nice holidays. I don’t care about what will come after. I accepted the fact that we’ll probably have a bad next year, and I’ve already started looking into other options. I just want to have a decent holiday season this one... — read more

No Layoffs for December?
I have not seen anything on here but that’s not saying it didn’t or won’t happen. Someone mentioned that next year they will focus on firing instead of laying off next year. I can see that. Just seeing if anyone heard anything about this month. — read more

Scrum Masters/Agilists
