Bonuses

I’ve heard that there will be very small bonuses at SBA Canada this year, maybe none at all - could that be true? Our president MM always says how great we are doing though we are missing our sales targets. What’s the truth? And has anybody heard... — read more

SBA Canada Sale to Canada Retail?

What are the chances of SBA Canada being sold to Canada Retail? With sales and EBITDA off target (I think), and still lots of channel confusion - do we think that SD might just sell up to Canada Retail and focus on the US? If so, even more people... — read more

Scary working for this company

There is so much uncertainty and the direction seems all over the place. The push for voluntary resignations will lead to layoffs. Who in their right mind would ask to resign if it was not a guarantee? So disappointing in a company I have dedicated... — read more

Age Discrimination Law Suits

With all the fake metric excuses being used to fire all the older managers (READ HIGHER PAID) the wrongful dismissal lawsuits for age discrimination are following. There may be enough of these to support a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. What do you think?

Forcing staff to make FS Purchases

How bad can it be at Staples if SBA Canada is FORCING associates to spend $50 a week each on buying FS products to make the EBITDA target? How stupid has management become - and can Sandy really support these sorts of dumb ideas?
