Where does Office Depot fit in all of this?
How can you blame the people who buy from Amazon. It’s easier, less expensive, superior delivery. No reason to pay higher prices and get awful delivery.

You all are to blame. Quit buying from Amazon.
Staples, WB Mason and independent dealers won’t actually go bankrupt. They will either merge together for survival or sell for pennies on the dollar. The industry is being taken over by Amazon and they’re k–ling the dealers in the space.

When I read this post I’m not surprised at all. Staples, WB Mason, and independent dealers alike across the country are dealing with sales revenue in the toilet. Sales revenue down, margins up, but no growth. No growth or negative growth equals loss of market share. Amazon prevails and will control the office products industry shortly.
