Layoffs are coming.

yes I can see a lot of layoffs all over. once the panic buying stops as it has where I work(essendant) things are slowing down dramatically and ppl are getting vl'd(voluntary leave) either the whole day or half way thru a shift. they haven't furloughed or lay off yet, they like to make everyone show up to get it all done(what little there is) and then they send us home. so u might work 2 hours or 4 hours or get sent home just before u clock in. this co. doesn't like to pay unemployment so a severe reduction in hours is probably in the very near future versus lay off. that being said, it still costs a lot to keep employees showing up everyday. insurance on the employee just for being in the building, health coverage on that employee, etc., at some point sp will find a way to unload that employee.
Stores in Canada are closes for at least 3 weeks
Layoffs are definitely coming. This isn’t going to magically get better in a week. The fact that some people are still in denial over this whole thing is ridiculous. My state has 1000 new cases a day and the death toll rises too. Every business is going to start cutting within the next few weeks
Easter is coming too, and everything will be fine by then.
This site and these posts are now oficially irrelevant until further notice.
Millions of layoffs are coming... this post is brilliant
To be fair layoffs have been happening for the last 6 years;)
Vague post is vague
Care to elaborate?
