I am afraid that laying off people here and there won't cut it. Sh-t started going down on last years of MP And 3 or 4 years of JD's sh-t And 18 months of EH feeble efforts. That means that Nike has been on downward slide for 7 to 9 years. And... — read more
NKE dead: sheeps thriving
Bring back the wolves! The sheep in place have ki-led this company. All yes people focused on managing up, not results.
If you were laid off in 2026, please read
As someone who was let go from another company, here are a couple of things I'd tell my younger self: Take some time to process everything that happened and what it means to you financially It's almost impossible not to speculate why YOU... — read more
It’s as simple as wide shoes…
I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of people that tell me that they don’t wear Nikes because they run to slim. And each time I just nod my head and say I agree. I do wonder how much more business we’d campfire by making a simple change like... — read more
Most of the people who were let go… were let go for a reason.
Unpopular opinion: many of the people who were let go weren’t adding enough value to justify their roles. If we’re being honest, there’s probably more inefficiency still left in the system.
If Nike is doing so bad
Why don’t they change the people on the executive level? Should changes not start at the top?
Nike hiring bact at IRS
Nike has just posted multiple openings at IRC to backfill the roles that were laid off. So, in other words, it was not a layoff, but simply outsourcing.
I don't think it's over
I believe we'll only be safe come Monday.
RTO?
Are we all going back to the office 5 days a week? Does this mean remote work goes away forever?
How I think we can win now
First, STOP WITH THE CONSULTANTS FOR OUR STRATEGY 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 They don’t know the business like we do. They don’t understand what has made Nike Nike. Second, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS SACRED STOP CLOUT CHASING. It’s honestly an embarrassment at this... — read more
I'm not picking up someone else's work
Somehow, survivors of layoffs are just expected to absorb everything, regardless of whether it fits their role or skills. Management makes zero effort to redistribute work sensibly. They just dump it on us. Not my problem that they cut based purely... — read more

Do we still get PSP if we were laid off?
I was confused by the documentation around PSP pay out as it said if it happened in the final month of the fiscal year that you would get it. Assuming since they did it in April, we will not get it, but confused since we are staying on payroll till... — read more

Adidas vs Nike
Adidas told Kanye West to pack it up and took the hit. Cleaned house. Nike keeps doubling down with Travis Scott looking for a shortcut to relevance. Adidas reports earnings and the stock jumps. Nike reports earnings and the stock drops. Adidas... — read more

The truth nobody speaks of…
