Santa's dilemma boxes for Intel

Interim CEO dilemma: how to keep bleeding at low level without making significant changes to status quo until new CEO is on board, they can't make sweeping changes since that is not what new CEO may want. Until then they have to let it bleed... — read more

What went right with Battlemage

I know this site doesn't concern itself with Intel wins (not that there have been any in recent years) but Battlemage is a genuinely good product that got good reviews and quickly sold out. While it assuredly does nothing to change Intel's woes, it's... — read more

Predict Intel Future?

No CEO can fix it. Engineering talent is long gone. Only fix is, get bought over by someone else! From buying other companies to getting bought over….that is what I predict for Intel. Nothing else will work. What y all think?

Pat was either a liar or a fool

Gelsinger in July 2022: This is the bottom, we're rebuilding from here. Gelsinger in August 2023 the worst is behind us Gelsinger in April 2024 We continue to see Q1 as the bottom, and we expect sequential revenue growth to strengthen... — read more

Opinion from Semiwiki about the breakup.

If we’re demanding that the US have its own foundry company, why not start from a blank sheet? Instead of committing the cardinal engineering error of writing a solution (Intel) into the spec instead of a requirement (we want our own foundry), create... — read more

Lawsuit against Pat!

Finally someone does the right thing. He eroded $150B shareholder value, lay-off thousands, while making $200M+! There should be some accountability….praying after the damage is done is crocodile tears. He may need to pray for himself now and fight... — read more

Sabbatical Payout

I’ve recently gotten conflicting information on sabbatical payouts. If you voluntarily leave with an accrued sabbatical on the clock, you forfeit that time…right?! I have heard of people who left Intel for a new job and still got paid for their... — read more

A few people here are saying they decided not to sue

If you had a strong case, why not take legal action against Intel? Holding them accountable could teach them a valuable lesson. People who let things slide are often why companies like Intel continue their practices without consequence.

How many years has this been going on?

Once again we walk into the computer retail store (All of um) and every laptop with Intel in it has the Blue Screen. This has been the case since the beginning of the Wintel partnership. How long did you think this would last and why are we still... — read more

Intel’s drama is becoming incredibly boring

If it wasn’t for our livelihoods, that nobody gives a damn about, there would be no suspense left in this endless saga of incompetence, weak leadership and utter lack of imagination. The only mystery that still somewhat boggles the mind is how it’s... — read more

I took the high road

Clearly the Intel BoD is clueless. But probably the best decision they made is firing the bozo who destroyed the company. Wish they had done it 2 years ago. Pat has been a disaster in every possible way. The guy literally bankrupted the company... — read more
