Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

its time

Many of us that wish Intel to succeed are already in our respective office locations. It’s time for all others to either get into the office and work a full day rather than thinking up excuses of why you believe that you are better than everyone else and can just stay home and receive a paycheck or move on.

DZ/MJH need to fire the narcissists that believe they are better than the others and deserve to stay home.

Your lack of entry on the ACMQA shows that you are full of lies. Intel is not going BTO WFH does not destroy productivity and you are 100% here for the troll value. If you believed what you’re saying you would take me up on the opportunity to get the CEO’s to comment on that but you won’t do that because you KNOW they would say “we need WFH right now because we can’t afford office space it’s a key part of our strategy regardless of what the feds are doing”

Failure to ask on ACMQA is an action that speaks louder than words

BTO is now the law for federal employees and soon enough Intel will also go back to the office. It was a failed experiment and all the studies show remote work destroys productivity and younger workers get no experience or mentorship.

I was the one who posted about the server outage and drew the complaints “HEY QUIT POSTING OUR DIRTY LAUNDRY ON SOCIAL MEDIA GO THROUGH THE PROPER INTERNAL CHANNELS”

So OP, clearly I can’t throw rocks but …
They had a point … and if you really are an Intel employee in a group with a slacking problem….

Then you’re doing that too.

Take this to the proper channels please.

OP there is only one proof I will accept. If you’re afraid about anonymity get a friend to post it. I’m serious. Posting here you’re just being a troll. Post on the ACMQA and you can get real traction.

I know what you’re afraid of. You’re afraid your question will get in front of Mom and Dad and they’ll promote WFH. That’s what I expect too TBH.

This site is great for coping but if you REALLY believe in BTO submit to the ACMQA. Then you’ll have a chance of making leverage. Anything else is just copium.

I removed my ACMQA. So it’s not there any more because I’m not carrying water for a non employee. If you are really Intel IO as you say you should be able to go around to the other IO’s find 100 like minded individuals and then the interim CEO’s WILL speak to it DIRECTLY.

Failing to do this means you don’t work for Intel.

Put up or shut up.

Intel has real offices? You are funny OP. It has a lot of dirty shared hybrid cubicles waiting for you coming to clean up and desensitization of smell ordor from previous people fa-t.

The cubicle is a scourge of humanity and should be wiped off the face of planet Earth.

Studies show that WFH led to an 83% gain in productivity. Tesla reversed its WFW policy because they could not attract talent. If you want Intel to be successful, focus on yourself and your role. Don’t worry about others. I’m an engineer and I’m on the East Coast. I used to be on the West Coast but had a family emergency. It was my manager who offered to convert me to fully remote so they could retain me. My skill set is unique and while I’m not irreplaceable it wouldn’t be an easy task. My output is consistently high and I’m in so many meetings it’s simply not possible to slack off even if I wanted to. Because of the time shift I’m much better able to collaborate with folks overseas and dropping my kids off at school and picking them up doesn’t interfere with my working hours. This is a win win win situation. Can anyone explain to me, without being disrespectful or rude, how this is a problem for Intel? If the talent pool is limited to geographical location, Intel is simply shooting itself in the foot in regards to acquiring top talent

I wish Intel to succeed and I am in my office location.

That’s an awful lot of empathy you have for your coworkers OP with your attitude that we should be forced into stuff. I hope you wipe down your hotel desk every day when you go home. You say you have a cube? But you want me to go IO to a hotel desk?

Now who’s establishing themselves as “better” ?

STFU. There’s at least as much evidence that employees are more productive at home as in the office. We should be making decisions based on data, not yours or anyone elses gut feel that RTO is somehow better. What’s very clear is that RTO increases costs which Intel definitely doesn’t need. /thread

Let see a real talent CEO in office first before whining about the employees

Agreed. This back and forth on this topic needs to be stopped. I don’t want to hear about it ever EVER again.
