Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Shitel will die a long, painful death

Given the state of affairs, the only direction is downwards. Eventually, more layoffs, real estate footprint will shrink, more people will quit when market recovers, Foundry will split, more layoffs, share price down? Have I missed anything?

"Don’t agree with the post , intel will recover, we have strong products , just need right leadership and foundary should split. Look at AMD now where it is , and we definitely have strong products than them, it’s a matter of time, yeah there will be more layoffs etc and hitting some bottom but should recover post that , note x86 market is it going anywhere at min for 10 years .."

the economy is getting worse in the US and abroad (Europe, Canada, ...)
more and more folks will tighten their belts
what intel produces is a luxury item and not a necessity
people will then purchase LESS intel products
forgetting the fact that the product might be sh---y to begin with
the US is bankrupt and its bailouts will be less too
Intel is trapped in a whirlpool of debt/failure

With Intel's cash burn rate the demise will go from slowly, to suddenly all at once.

Death by a thousand cuts if things aren’t figured out soon. Everyone is waiting. Shareholders, and more importantly, employee stakeholders. As of right now the state is nothing less than a calamity. This weeks earnings call should be telling. CEO conveys another Tick Tock message regarding rate of decay, but no game plan. No bueno

Shitel must be your last name, given the prognosis.
