@2tg Rules for thee and not me...has never worked long term. It creates an environment that no one likes and pits people against each other. Eventually either the rules change, or "everyone" is held to the same standard. Time will tell.

BTC/KLTC engineer quality of deliverables not up to par - TMTS imploding soon?

Heard from inner technology circles that quality of deliverables outsourced to BTC/KLTC is poor triggering a relook into the type of work ported to the tech center. Pay a freshie engineer in Asia USD10-15k/yr and get them to churn out useless report, it is anyone's guess that quality will be subpar.

Make no mistake the asia tech center are here to stay. Upper Management will tolerate the sub-quality work, blame the supervisors and call it a day. #winning #We Are Exxonmobil

Heard there was a unit that got one technical contact retrenched, the other three contacts resigned on the same day, wow, bravo guys. This is right way to demonstrate #teamwork, and tell those tone deaf mgt that we are not happy.

This is exactly what WE the employees MPT or NMPT feel very badly hurt dissapointed disgusted angry with !!!
WE are clearly freely being bullied and terrorrised by MGMT !!!

And very sadly and dissapointing even our own MOM cannot help US !!!

By all means WE can understand being retrenched but pay US a proper and deserving compensation.
Got options and paid the lowest.
The longer longest you work here supposed to get a bigger deserving compensation package but instead it works opposite only get given the lowest payout option !!!
But can give big huge payout and bonuses to you and we all know WHO even in bad crisis times like this !!!
WTF we're wasting our precious long longest time being a loyal employees and get given peanuts !!!
Dear EM so sorry in the future nobody will work hard and stay loyal like US 20-30 yrs and beyond anymore !!!
Gone are the days of loyalty and job hopping is the new standard 5-10 yrs the most in EM !!!

Companies like Shell or even local company SIA have done practiced and proven to be a world standard world class in good and bad times and being honest straightforward in terms of retrenchment and compensation !!!

PIP is the other severe damaging tool and practices by EM !!!
WTF i just cannot get it understand it for the last 20-30 yrs of good service and then suddenly you're being PIP-ed your performance is sub standard unsatisfactory !!!
Suddenly higher mgmt managers got plenty of free time to go ground field plant tour BU by BU voluntarily to get dirty to make US declare and sign pledge letters and headhunting to PIP US !!!
Please lah EM just copy do what Shell or SIA is doing and have done just tell straight WE have to go !!!
Just save and practice the GREAT WORLD CLASS STANDARD PIP SYSTEM among yourself among MGMT CAN ???

I agree, but by doing this to us they lost all chances of anyone giving an effort going forward. #we just don't care anymore!

We need a new GM in hamburg. This one is still left over from the old boys Club. You never see him on sales floor.
