This is #fakenews... it's not that we're taking the existing park and giving it to the local park districts, it's that we're restoring the equality between the hub locations. You see, when you look at all hub locations, Bloomington stands alone as the only location with a park. It's quite an aberration compared to the other locations. So, as part of vivify, we're making sure that all roles are equally distributed among all hub locations. The role of "park" will be equalized to a small patch of grass around the flag pole of each location. I can't believe the number of people who want to perpetuate the inequality of the Bloomington location.

Heard this before! And never happened! #FakeNews .... Also if Ops & AP were merging on a district and regional level who gets the job? Both are specialized positions. An Ops person doesn’t know how to handle or do AP business such as partnership with law enforcement or interviewing. AP is not well versed on the Ops side with the programs used. So I can’t see that... I do agree and could see multi unit managers in all worlds for small stores. The markets are saying retail is having the best Q4 in a long time. I can see a few cuts but not many. The only way I could see these cuts is if Jeff has a totally different vision for Macys than Terry had...

@rps #FakeNews! 40% layoffs in certain areas maybe but not across the board. Even if we had a 40% reduction in revenue, it does not equate to a 40% reduction in headcount, maybe 10%. Schenectady isn't going to close. They will have reductions like the rest of GE Power but they will continue to build steam turbines. Frozen pension...likely.

Speak with your store managers, this information is not #fakenews. SHC will no longer sell Whirlpool brand or any of it's brands such as Kitchenaid, Amana, Jenn-Air, etc. Whirlpool products will be removed from online by Sunday. Stores may sell the product they have on-hand and at distribution centers. No further products will be procured from Whirlpool. You can also see this information flowing on Pebble.
