Media and govt tells us "The economy is booming!" and yet just about every major corporation is laying people off. Ever cross your mind that the economy is not booming, and that is a false narrative?

Companies don't cut thousands of jobs when the economy is booming, just common sense people.
Between automation and the indians coming here on visa's and draining the pool of american tech jobs... We are slowly finding ourselves in trouble.
I guess Kimberly Clark, AT&T and Walmart are also dead companies in death spirals.

There will be many more jobs lost due to automation.
But some sectors like healthcare and the Trades will be booming. Anyone who tried to find a plumber, or any type of contractor lately can see this trend.
