I was told a couple months ago that I needed to be working/leading all the channel deals in my pipeline which has su-ked with no pay increase. Now I have heard that the channel team is going away from my AE who is usually right. Wonder if I will not have to work with partners anymore. Anyone else heard this?

ISR’s now make quotes for the channel, on top of all the KPI’s they increased on us.

“You’ll get paid sh-t, be happy, or you can go suffer the job market that’s had the highest layoffs since 2009.”

I have been told the inside Chanel reps are being let go and we in direct will now get full control on what partners get to do business with Dell.

One Dell way

There are a few roles going at NetApp as an SE and in the channel business. Any advice around if you'd recommend anyone to work with you guys? Been working at dell for 15 years and there been no progress in the last 5 years. Keen to hear your thoughts

Were any in the reseller alliance channel? I have heard of a couple there. Is this area going away?

Is the I2B channel safe? Agents sale a lot of business but it doesn’t stick.

Hearing a lot of rumors and basically no department is safe, no position is safe. November 20 is the date I’m seeing and hearing, But I am hearing more than anything that SMB is really on the chopping block. What do we think is going to happen to SMB and B2B? Restructure or just completely cut the channels out and have store reps and managers take care of business?
