UK Compulsory Reddundancy - anyone affected?

Mail came out last Friday in UK telling a number of staff they were not "provisionally at risk" of redundancy this time, but said other people in UK would be. This was especially frustrating as a number of staff receiving these had unsuccessfully... — read more

Pay raises??

I am a new hire to DXC, but have worked professionally for 22 years. I read a LOT on here about no pay raises have been given for years, is that true? So no COL, merit, bonus, NOTHING?? Nada? I have never heard of such a thing. I mean there may have... — read more

It's nice outside.

I left DEC/Compaq/HP/HPE after 20 years total. It just got uglier and uglier over the years, and a big part of it was management telling us that we were very lucky to have such high paying jobs still. Once I finally looked out the window, I was able... — read more

Pontiac

Did DXC find another building for the Pontiac folks? There are so many rumors from work from home to a new building across the street. Does anyone know? All we are getting are emails saying that they are working on a solution.

DXC, just removed vacation weeks for years of service

you just negotiate your vacation time with your manager, totally unrelated to years of service. work 1 month, take off 2 months, if all agrees. work 25 years, maybe no time off. who knows? no one. oh, this sounds good.

Heard that the next wave is expected to be 15% work force reduction. Managers are working overtime to meet th numbers but conveniently eating into the flesh of the workforce since the excess fat was already removed in the first quarter. The managers... — read more

DXC adopt CSC Vacation Policy Sep 1st

Who thinks they chose to not lay off in the US states where they have to pay out unused vacation until the new flexible policy starts in Sep 1? And now they will hit those locations. Maybe this explains why the approved VR in Europe was low? European... — read more

No Leadership At DXC

Let's face it, a company is only as strong as its leader and there's a reason Mike Lawrie is not on the list of the top 100 CEO's in America. Anyone can do what he has done, layoff people, cook the books, not pay suppliers, except for the executive... — read more

DXC USPS

Hang on for the payout if you can

If you have a lot of years service - which is probably the only thing keeping the 'remainers' in DXC right now - then hang on for the payout. But be sure, that 'hanging on' will continue to be painful I am afraid, as DXC will surely come up with even... — read more
