Lawrie is going to hold a town hall meeting in Pontiac to give a "corporate update" and hold a Q&A session. Pontiac is primarily public sector employees that don't fit the low cost / off shore model DXC is trying to implement, so I suspect whatever news comes out of this will not be good for employees.

Who would have thought that someone could make President Trump look attractive? Really puts Mike Lawrie in perspective.

Highlights from today’s Lawrie’s town hall:
16,000 WFRs so far this year, with another 8,000 to go.
No raises or bonuses ever. Salaries are set on external market factors.
Benefits will continue to decrease, and costs for employees will increase.
Employees are expected to invest personal time and money on learning new skills and technologies.
Poor morale was acknowledged; however Mike challenged employees to “take personal ownership” of morale, whatever that means.
DXC will not invest in R rather they will partner with firms that do R&D.
Regarding Public Sector, “all options are on the table.”
Loyalty from employees is greatly desired, along with touting the DXC brand to clients and potential customers.

I'm hoping for a day when someone who has been WFR'd or has already given notice attends one of these meetings and asks the real questions. Resist!
Makes no sense to invest in moving to a new facility if the plug was going to be pulled...

The head of HR is supposed to be at the town hall as well. I'd say there's a good chance significant news comes out of it.
