Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Missing in the WARN list.

I got WFR last month but the name DXC or HPE was not on the WARN list.

The company with the lowest number of affected individual is 6 and it is not DXC.

Ah!

Yes, the culture of DXC strikes me as the type of firm that would bypass rules; cut corners and screw everyone.

The brand has become sullied and associated with poor quality service and late delivery, at least amongst the ageing infrastructure without investment. A firm that doesn't really have the skills to deliver the promises its branding claims.

I can still remember the old CSC, before it became this mongrel mess of disjointed private equities, mergers and partnerships. All good stuff when its integrated properly - but DXC has not clue of how to manage Change Transformation. It's got more silos and disjointed groups now than it had when it started. There's no 'end-to-end' anything. No Quality of service. No Process. No Governance beyond level 2. No Management Structure. No clear course. No integration of all these bought in groups and constant change in any client relationships that are built.

The brand is a mess.

@PP3sSTx : DXC knows ways of bypassing all those rules and regulations. This is an old topic which is no longer valid. Several hundred have been removed and there is no trace of anything anywahere. The official figure is not even 400.

So even if there is a WARN that 10 are to be removed you can imaging that teh number would be 100 in reality. Nobody can prove which 10 were on the WARN and what happens to the remaining 90.

DXC has been getting away with this pretty well so far.

Between Aug and Sept 2017 - At least 3 from California were RIF'd (ex-CSC) including myself. I'm wondering if the 60 day pay-in-lieu of notice will delay the EDD reporting until next quarter. Any information is appreciated.

There is a certified TAA for DXC/HPE workers in Omaha NE. It is the only one that I found for DXC. There are quite a few going back several years for CSC, with one currently under investigation.

I am not a US person, but under title 20 code of your federal regulations section 639.7, isn't a Worker Adjustment Refraining Notification supposed to list the Name and address of the employment site affected?

Not sure what you mean either "the company with the lowest number..." Do you mean "Location" or "Site" where 6 people constitutes a workforce to be included within the scope of this missing 'DXC' term?
