Just thinking back at all the good people let go over those years as the company dealt with the outcome of the inept GOM exploration team at the time.

Does BP offer any kind of remote work for their non-field personnel? Thinking of applying but remote/hybrid work is a perk I’m not willing to lose

Heard recently that bp is trying to reduce costs by 20% YoY… Switching to a cheaper coffee for the office isn’t going to help enough. How else will they reduce the cost of business without cutting contractors and employees?

BP hired some people from big software companies. Has it helped the company? Is software work at BP similar to that of a pure software company? BP probably offered very good compensations to these people.

BP is not uniformly bad. There are places where there is still a good work culture/environment/balance compared to others. What are the undesirable areas, BUs, departments? Why?
