Re: @jss+1vnDKW03 - RIFs started Monday 3/17. I am only directly aware of small numbers of affected individuals, but the overall scope is apparently large enough that WARN act notices had to be filed.
Seems to been a new round of layoffs today....
Front line care in lost 50 people in R&D in December. Closed Singapore and Irvine plus other people. All R&D contractors furloughed through at least end q1. SKF operations lost 15 this week from production engineering and tool room. Possibly more to come by the end of Feb. are we the cow getting fed nothing but grain?

Sales cuts to come in March?? Asking not spreading false information. Anyone hear anything?
Several Baxter people in Cardiology Sales and Project Management, were laid off yesterday, Jan. 31st 2025.
Lay offs have not ended. They began in week of January 13th. The marketing team in Round Lake is gone and about 25 more people. Many contractors that were furlough have been ok to return but, many others are still furloughed until March/June. There is rumors of a potential sale of Baxter International. Could be announced April/May 2025
30+ in Global Quality too.
Yep, 50+ people laid off today at Baxter in RA, I was one of em, my manager too, the whole team had their jobs eliminated.
For anyone who cares - this is all BS. A couple of managers found out about this website and started effing with people to get everyone riled up. It's people playing with your emotions. Get over yourself and if you still think there might be a layoff that affects you - spend your time getting your resume ready instead of reading fake anonymous websites full of lies.

It’s confirmed, it started today. It’s unfolding now. Impacted folks are getting packages.

Which dept got the furloughs?
All 1,643 people that got the Nov 2024 furlough, were now extended until March, some June. I never should have waited to January thinking I was going back!!
Expect these after the holidays.

Never trust baxter anymore. My entire team got laid off with the then CTO openly joking about how some teams wont be there anymore.
They pitched the "spinoff" as something that we well all grow together in. And surprise surprise, january came, no spinoff, and then they sold it
Yes, 2-month furloughs going out beginning to mid-Nov - I got notice!!! :(
