Was it really worth it?

I know some who have been furloughed have been called back and some have been laid off - I'm wondering if those two options covered everybody or if there are still people who are furloughed?

I went to my local BN to see how far they had fallen. A total of 4 employees were manning a huge store. Oh, and some guy actually bought a CD, like the old fashioned kind. Down with BN.

I learned that at least in New York State, B&N had to hire back or terminate furlough employees within 6 months of furloughing us. If they didn’t they would have had to file with the government and given employees advance notice of termination. This... — read more

I've seen ex-employees calling out all of the bad managers and how they were treated on the job sites and here but not so much on social media.

Let’s support our libraries, independent bookstores and Amazon as a last resort. Boycott of B&N is on! I felt so good telling former customers today to stay away.
