It is obvious that Avaya does not want good employees. I don't know why some stay here even though I know they have skills to get much better opportunities. I think working here is just a waste of time. How many people do you know who left and in... — read more
Why am I still here?
I want them to escort me out. I've given this company nothing but exemplary work for years but now I've come to the point where the overall situation has left me with no incentive or desire to work. I am now doing the bare minimum and waiting for... — read more

Layoffs are bad but staying is not much better
Those who remain after layoffs will have to face increased workload, stagnant wages, higher health care premiums, fewer benefits, underfunded pensions, and so many other big and small things. It might not be as bad as losing your job, but it's not... — read more
Avaya Ireland
Will there be layoffs in Ireland? When will they happen??
When was the last time you got a raise?
I wanted to ask and get some other peoples experience to see if it was only me. The last time I got a raise of salary was in 2014. When our stock was close to $30's per share, I asked my manager if I could get a raise because so many of my coworkers... — read more
Avaya doesn't know how to build a product that customers love

Can I trust my manager if he tells me I'm safe?

Does anyone still believe in this company?
I am not optimistic at all... If there is someone who still believes in this company and that there can be some improvements here, I would like to hear their arguments.
I would like to get cut
Probably at this moment there are more people who are praying to be paid to leave, than those who would like to survive layoffs. Thoughts?
Layoffs will create more problems than solve!
We all know that well-planned layoffs can help a company get back on track. However, I do not believe that these layoffs will solve any problems in the company at all. Moreover, I think there will be even more of them.
Where things went wrong
AVAYA never figured out how to align all of it's assets. And then once basic time and attrition did it for them, the market pivoted and they decided to do a quick fix cloud plan ..buy Spoken. They bought Spoken for PCI, HIPAA and Cloud, just to learn... — read more
