This Will not improve morale. Good luck HR. Maybe be more transparent with the real reasons you do things. If you do this to them, you will clearly jerk anyone around.

Sad news

It is safe to say that the merit raises for the Accounting Department were total BS. Did not come close to keeping up with inflation.

I keep hearing rumors about RIFs, but no one has any detailed insights. It makes me very anxious. Meanwhile, our boss has more unrealistic demands than ever, but who can be productive working in such a tense atmosphere?
