Thread regarding Apache Corp. layoffs

Turnover on turnover… I wonder why

I wonder when management will realize why there is such a high turnover rate… because working here is exhausting.

The workplace drama, the non-stop corporate politics, the blatantly open nepotism of promoting based off favoritism instead of merit is a true testimony to what JC & SR have made Apache… a toxic work environment that takes more than it gives that will never change under current management.

Can we just clear house of any management that’s been here for more than 10 years and just promote within based off merit? It’s not like management actually does anything anyways…

Lipstick is nicer than what we have lol. Downgraded stocks valued less than pre acquisition. Smh. But on the bright side. I see BIG changes coming at any rate

Nobody is buying this PIG because there isn’t enough lipstick in the world to hide its flaws!

Good Luck. A buyout and clean sweep will only fix this

I like my manager after having several that were clowns. Don’t let a jerk steal your job or LTIP.

Better go for a life jacket and jump before this thing Talisman’s in to the hands of a Chinese company.

Should’ve seen all the good North Sea REs that were driven out by a certain “leader“ - we could do with them now

Key word = Toxic.

How many EA's has JJ ran off since her arrival? Like seriously. How many?

HR has no one left that is even close to being a leader! It’s a cluster within a cluster! So sad.
As a manager that’s still here trying to stay positive, its completely depressing. Pre-covid days were the BEST.

Pretty sad when you are losing member of your international NV staff which should be one of the most coveted roles for a technical professional.

Oil at 80 and APA at a 52 week low. That should say it all

Employees, like the shareholders have come to the realization that APA is a subpar oil company with terrible management. The shareholders are running for the exits and no longer want to hold the bag with the current, inept BOD and C-Suite executives. They are absolutely the most poorly managed company in the patch. Now SR is an "operations" guru and had the 'nads to criticize CPE operations in the CC. What a total joke!

Change would require the Board to actually do something which they have proven they will not.
