Do the right thing and just go with it. Dont waste a lot of time with it, but take the high ground.
Weather
Bad day for anybody in the natural gas buisness, doesnt look good, natural gas prices tanking big time, due to glut and warm weather will need a hot summer. Liquids may be better, if oil prices continue to hold.
Jobs
71 openings, doubling every two weeks. When will it reach 700 to replace the 700 terminated employees last year?
ALWAYS REMEMBER: "We're committed to supporting the communities where we live and work"
Super committed
Talent
All this krap about not having enough talent or the need to get ride of bad talent is a sure sign of bad management. Look at the Patriots they win every year without the best talent, they use what they have! Never seen such a large group of... — read more

Backfilling
31 open positions and climbing, why dont they recall some of the terminated workers.

When is OKC closing?
Also, are most of the OKC employees opting to relocate to Tulsa?
Gold Mine, Crown Jewels and Shoes
Bizzare article by Bloomberg released today. What do you think, will they share some of the gold by recalling and rehiring some of 700 terminated employees?
Happy New Year!
Glad this year is over! It's official there will be no merger or extra servance for those terminated in 2016.
Commercial Dept
Maybe they should be cut back as well, predictions of NG prices way too negative, off by a lot.
New Access management out to nail Williams folks specially in Tulsa. Vindictive. Can't believe AA can't see what is going on.
Good luck in Tulsa Access
EHS
I have nothing against anybody in the EHS department, many of their employees do a great job. The issue has always been the safety culture as recently documented by the chemical safety board. Some of this has been cleaned up and great progress has... — read more
Why the EHS hate?
Of all departments it seems EHS gets slammed most often on this board. Why is that?
Makes sense...
I am not an employee nor have I ever been in oil and gas, but as an Oklahoman and seeing the obvious lack of collaboration between Tulsa and OKC with the recent posts is sad. This is a leadership issue that has allowed a "them vs us" mentality that... — read more
It's about time OKC closes.
It's about time Willie cut the dead weight of the OKC office. I'm not talking about the people, well some of the people in EHS, but the physical buildings. Why they kept that office this long is amazing with Tulsa being so close. No one should be... — read more
To my former ACMP co-workers
I'm sorry to hear the news that Williams is closing the OKC offices. I consider years that I spent with CHK Midstream and then ACMP and the full separation from CHK as one of the true highlights of my career. We accomplished things that many said... — read more
Behind the curve!
Bad timing as always, Williams is always behind the curve. CHK stock has recovered and OPEC is coming to terms. The bust is over and a recovery is on the way, why would Williams be cutting back at this tine, certainly not due to market conditions... — read more
This is the final break
If you didn't see this coming in June '14 when Williams bought Access, you were in dreamland. Two major offices 100 miles apart? No company is run that way. You should thank Kelcy for getting you an extra year sitting around OKC. This should have... — read more
The end of okc? Tune in Wed!
Well lets see how it goes...
New and Backfilled Positions
Of the 700 employees that where terminated in April, has anybody been recalled or offered to at least interview for new positions opening up at Williams? If not has anybody tried reapplying or this just a complete waste of time.
New Hr code word
The new buzz word out of HR departments, not necessarily Williams but could be is the candidate may not be a culture fit. Clue too old for the job
Fast delete
Geez, that last post regarding EHS leadership, specifically safety didn't last long.
Women of Williams? I guess
OMG.. this company makes me so mad. Pretty clear that those new to the company and early in our technical careers have no path or important enough to be reflective in the leasership team. 2 VPS promoted (both male). All 4 female Vice Presidents were... — read more
Buh-bye OKC
More OKC gutting on the way. Expect announcements early next week (or even sooner) with RIF's after Christmas.
I can't resist!
Thinking Trump and Hilary were a epic disaster until discovering this forum and having the lasting and ever joyful pleasure of reading about Pete and Stephanie. Well good luck.
Chemical Safety Board
I encourage all employees to visit the chemical safety board and read the report on Williams that was released. Glad it is in the open finally.
Asset sales?
What's the word on the street in regards to any asset sales? I figured they would be trying to sale some slower/lower assets. The news indicates several big oilers and gassers are selling big assets.
Williams is a Good Company
Nothing else to say, end of story.
Good and bad news
The good news is oil is above 50 bucks and natural gas is way about 3 bucks. The bad news is Williams projections on price where totally inaccurate, hard to plan anything.

A question for former Williams casualties
Has anyone that was severed (laid off) by Williams been rehired, applied for a new job with Williams and was at least interviewed by Wiliiams? It looks as though they are back filling former positions.
