Thread regarding Williams Cos. layoffs

This is the final break

If you didn't see this coming in June '14 when Williams bought Access, you were in dreamland.

Two major offices 100 miles apart? No company is run that way.

You should thank Kelcy for getting you an extra year sitting around OKC. This should have happened in Nov '15.

Severed employees will get severance based on their total service -- probably including time served at CHK. Pretty generous.

Most Access employees have hated Williams since Williams bought Access. This is the final break.

Great, I would use the cash and first client I would go after is Chk. Great advantage being closer to the client, while Williams makes a phone call from their ivory tower, you would be at the stadium with them, no brainer.

I think if your new job is a demotion or your new work location is more than 50 miles away you are eligible for severance. And there are several midstream start-ups in OKC already...what's one more

I hope everyone quits and finds a better job in okc, better yet start up another midstream company and kick their behinds in Tulsa. That will teach them for jerking their employees and families around, very poor.

Probably only a few will get a severance. Those offered jobs in Tulsa will have the choice to take the job or quit. Those moving to Tulsa will have to compete with existing workers to keep their job or be included in the next round of layoffs.
