Can you be that stupid to think they have not given some checks out to a select few just because of paperwork?!? It is being done. My goal is to find why some and not others.

duh, we know about the paperwork! However, i know for a fact that a few select that were let go last year have received a check so i don't give a crap about the paperwork.

This appears to be a selective payment. Not sure what the criteria is to get one but I obviously did not meet the requirements. I don't see how this can be legal.

I know two that received it but as of today (Monday 3.6) I have not. I will give it one more day and then I am contacting HR. Hopefully they didn't just give it selectively.

I reviewed my severance package and it looks like we would only receive a 2016 prorated AIP if there would have been a change in control (CIC). Since this didn't happen, don't expect a check.

Are you equating teaching ( or any other admirable profession ) to the white collar shenanigans of Williams corporate shell games and ever changing business ethics - still firmly in place since 2002 (can you say Enron II )? Or were you around with Williams back then? Do your homework. As an America, who fought for America, we don't run to a socialist society, nor do we move out of America to a corrupt communist nation in order to pout. We have quite enough corporate corruption here - thank you very much. Part of what makes and made America good is - we don't have to like everone or everything and just "taking it". I suspect that you are some low level " yes man" kumquat at best or (god forbid a member of upper management) who gets a charge trolling this forum. Your turn will come. By the way if you are lucky enough to have kids - are they being taught in the USA or are they being outsourced? Are they being taught by teachers - that money is everything? I thought that I was told when I was laid off on 4/1/16 that we would receive the first Q bonus this year. When can we expect it?

If anything is due, it's only due for the first quarter of '16, before April layoffs, not the whole year. Who expects a bonus for work they didn't do?

If Williams had any integrity

(keep that in mind), they should - especially for all those that lost their jobs at the sword of the corporate bigwigs' who made extremely poor financial decisions across the board - and sacrificed so many valuable and loyal long term employees, to cover their horribly thought out corporate ( i.e covering their rear ends) at the expense and experience of the truely valuable worker bee's. Even if it's a few thousand dollars - it's nothing compared to upper managements bonuses - for spinning this whole mess. Perception is the true "core" value of Williams.
