Thread regarding Williams Cos. layoffs

To my former ACMP co-workers

I'm sorry to hear the news that Williams is closing the OKC offices. I consider years that I spent with CHK Midstream and then ACMP and the full separation from CHK as one of the true highlights of my career. We accomplished things that many said were impossible, even our former CHK co-workers. We were able to create an industry leading company and watch it grow at a phenomenal pace.

It looks like that run will finally be coming to an end and that saddens me. Having left the company many months ago, this move doesn't directly affect me but I still know many people that this will affect.

I wish you all well with the coming changes and I hope you can remember the good times we shared and take comfort in the fact that we did some amazing things, right here in OKC!!! Viva La ACMP spirit!! hahaha

Ok, if is getting a little better, but at least 100000 people lost their jobs in the downturn and most new grads aren't finding jobs as well. I am hopeful things will get better and they should.

Not true - OPEC has agreed to the first production cuts in 8 years. This WILL help the domestic oil industry.

Great that is all we need more terminated workers flooding an all ready lousy job market. If you have a background in computers it looks strong, not oil & gas yet.
