Remember when, probably six years ago slc only had one director of operations-Larry halmerson? Then Barry then Barry and Pete then Just Barry then Barry and rob then rob and Pete. What is the deal there? Why so much redundancy at this level? Having two directors is a waste of time and money. Rob can definitely handle the role, he's great with people and making proactive and reactive decisions. As far as Pete goes nothing can be said as a compliment. I would love to see what Pete is raking in and compare that to what he brings to the table, everything is so confusing to him, what happened to him, he must have wrecked his bike too. Everyday when I see Pete I just don't get it, why is he still here? Doesn't he realize everyone is talking and wondering what it is he contributes or does.

For most it is the best way to go.
There are very few good jobs left in this country.
True statement. S---ing up is how they've kept their jobs. Do what works.
This is so common, you see it all the time, at all companies, my recommendation is to find a better situation if you can. If not s--- it up.
Good luck!
Pete, Potts, there's a whole slew of them that Williams has hung onto for no apparent reason. Boggles the mind when we can get rid of one of the best reliability/compressor guys around, but hang onto these clowns.
Pete is an ignorant and arrogant prick, if you ask him a question he becomes very verbally aggressive and exposes his lack of intelligence. He's a jerk off. He talks down to subordinates like he's some great intellectual achiever, in 8 years I have yet to see him accomplish a god damn thing. It'll all catch up to him. Just wait and see.
There was incident investigation which Pete was involved in, I couldn't believe the concerns he brought up. We were talking about a 65 million dollar situation and he was focused and asbestos abatement that was well known to be fiberglass-that was the final open ear conversation I had with him, I see him coming I head another direction he is not worth the hassle. Gas control is were he should of stayed if he had to stay. Toatal waste of compensation. Every question you ask him his first response is, that's a real good question, I'll have to get with some others to get you an answer-which he never does. F--- Pete!
Pete is an idiot. And a legend in his own mind. Sure he sees people talking about him. He thinks they're wondering how he's so amazing and why can't they be more like him. He is one of the crown jewels of Pipes.
I agree 110% about dunski Pete but I would also bring some of the engineering dept. into that group of dazed and confused. The support groups are way over staffed there is literally staff who have no assigned projects for years. It's ridiculous. When Pete landed back as a director, he admitted openly, I might add in front of several he asked for the transfer to escape being laid off! Williams had a perfect opportunity Barry retiring was one position eliminated then severing Pete would of cleaned up the director positions.
