The new buzz word out of HR departments, not necessarily Williams but could be is the candidate may not be a culture fit.
Clue too old for the job

No comment, I just think it is like any other large company, i do think they treat their employees very well. I have no complaints, not happy about getting terminated, only because I liked working there.
I feel there was some questionable high level execution and commercial decisions that created a high level of capital debt which is causing a lot of pain right now, but that is easy to say right now. I also had a lot of heartburn regarding safety issues, but in the end everyone took care of them as a excellent working team. Good luck
Williams seriously needs a lot of help, guidance and direction from the very top all the way down. To bad 10 years ago, truly was a very good company to work for.
I suspect they faked it on the interview or where hired because they knew somebody. I guess in defense of hr the behavior interviews do mean something but if you are prepared you can easily fake them out, example would be to have a good story about being a good team player, it is just a interview story.
Well, we've had several hires at Williams in the last two years in Tulsa who certainly don't fit with the Williams culture (which I thought was right way/right results and treating employees with respect)
These hr people are sonsilly. If you prepare for behavioral based interviews you can pass with flying colors. These cultural based interviews have nothing to do with how well you will do on the job, so silly. However if you are in certain class you probably will not get hired no matter what.
I believe that. It part of their culture, actually it works somewhat like being in the army. Not good for innovation but good for marching ahead in a battle, if you gave the right generals.
Would like to have an explanation of Williams perceived culture, if you "pipe up" you are gone-that culture is doing just fine at Williams.
Agreed by using culture as a method of screening employees for hire you are going to get a workforce where everyone is the same, not good. This is being abused as a reason not to hire certain classes of workers, not good, been exposed to this a lot since getting terminated. Hard to fight, not giving up.
