Just wondering if anyone from Tanzu have received offers yet and would be willing to share details?

My entire team is still at zero. I'm hoping that doesn't mean anything and the offers will continue to arrive throughout the day/week.

vmware deal will fail just like qualcomm deal. always need to evaluate risk beyond business, and broadcom will learn lesson the second time. the deal will be pending forever, till fail eventually.

If regulatory clearances aren’t granted, Broadcom will be forced to pay a whopping $1.5 billion termination fee to VMware. About 50K dollars per employee if deal not closed.

People are talking about 70% off eventually. And 10/30 are more about hr, legal, finance etc. What about R&D on 10/30? How much percent will be let go?

Michael Dell is very greedy. He took $10B from VMware when acquired VMware. Then he made VMware took a loan during spinoff so he can rob another $10B. Let alone the junk companies he forced VMware to buy.
