Southwest -vs- United

Southwest in order to avoid layoffs asks employees to take a 10% pay reduction to avoid layoffs and return to full pay in 2022. Why doesn’t United do that or have Scott pay for pay roll instead of tax payers? Why should the American people pay... — read more

Scott Kirby, you’re pathetic

One week until furloughs

United Operating Expenses

With Scott making 19 million and Oscar the Grouch making 12 million why don’t they take 11 million and 18 million of their salary and give back to company for operating expenses? Let’s see that happen! The public is against a bail out that allows... — read more

74% Down

On July 16th, the number of passengers passing through TSA was down 74% from normal times a year ago. COVID cases are surging again, so it doesn't seem like this will trend well.

Looks like levels 1 - 3 did just fine.

Another crisis, same result. The higher level managers save themselves and the rest of ya take the hit. Core4? What a crock of sh!t.

Can this become permanent?

I don't believe UAL can function with only 3,000 flight attendants long term, but this might be a way to get rid of those with higher pay and better benefits and replace them with cheaper (and less experienced - but who cares about that)... — read more
