mistake, a big mistake

An outsider here - feel like this is a mistake - pat’s strategy is aggressive but what the company needs - intel’s stock is jumping at this announcement, but i see it as a bad signal for intel 18a - if 18a was poised to be a smash hit, i don’t think... — read more

Another CEO exits the Intel Clown Car

Probably this doesn't go on for infinity, as being CEO of a Product and Foundry company is likely untenable, which is why they have never found an external hire for the job. There is no real internal bench to pick from, as demonstrated by choosing... — read more

Easy to blame Pat for everything

Personally, I believe the vision and strategy was good but the execution su-ked badly and that is not only on Pat. Pat was surrounded by a bunch of id--ts and that includes Dave and Michelle as well, especially Dave.

This made my day

It's not that I think others will be much better. Chances are higher that they won't than that they will. But I love the fact that he left with his tail tucked between his legs. I love that he walked away humiliated. He caused so much pain to so many... — read more

RIP old clown. Long live the new clowns

These new co-CEO clowns groveling and keep saying that they are “grateful for Pat’s leadership” Are you f’ing kidding me? PG’s leadership resulted in 60% of stock value erosion. How low will it go with DZ and MJ in charge?

Get ready for the blood bath

With Pats recent firing (not retirement) there will be massive changes coming. Intel has zero direction and clue what's its doing anymore. The fact Dave and Michelle were named CO CEOs is a massive failure and scramble to fill a gap. Lip-Bu Tan... — read more

2025 Sales and Marketing Team Cruise

With the news about Pat, I’m seriously worried about the sales and marketing team’s 2025 cruise vacation. What’s going to happen?

Simple solution to the problem

Sorry to see Pat retire. Did not agree with his vision for our company, but he had the good intentions. I'd say Intel should buy Tenstorrent and make Jim K. the CEO. Problem solved.

No defined Successor?

Having Dave and Michelle as interim CEO is a colossal failure. The Board and HR never learn that we need real successors identified ahead of time. Andy Bryant said they would never again be caught without a strong succession plan. Dave and Michelle... — read more

This was not voluntary

This was anything but voluntary. Can it be that there were finally some consequences for running Intel into the ground? Did the board finally start doing their job?

The king is gone

Long live the king and the queen. Let's see how badly Zinsner and Johnston Holthaus can mess this place up before we find a permanent new CEO.

PAT IS RETIRING

He sent an email stating he's retiring! Future of Intel does not bode well! Jump ship while you can!

What would make you want to stay with Intel?

I don’t know why anyone (bar top) would want to stay with Intel these days. The only thing that still keeps me here is the bad job market, and I don’t want to make any rushed decisions because the situation is as bad and frustrating as it is. Most of... — read more

Rewarding bullying managers

Why does Intel keep rewarding managers who manage through fear? It’s baffling to me that a manager who relies on yelling and threats to get results is considered effective. If anything, it’s a sign of poor leadership skills. But somehow, these are... — read more

Who would have made a difference?

I think the majority of Intel's problems today have to do with Pat. Who do you think should have been made CEO instead of him, and who'd actually know how to run this place?

The whole drama made me want to quit

Months of turmoil, disarray and anxiety caused me wishing not to have anything to do with Intel anymore. So if I’m to be laid off, bring it on - it will be a relief.

This place su-ks! But happy thanksgiving anyway!

The new scam… many people took VSP with a clear path to return right after to fill a new roll. Say what you want, but I have seen several people do this. This is waste, fraud and abuse. So efficient Intel! You are now actually part of the... — read more

Why do you care?

It's hard to understand why so many of you get so caught up in what's going on with the company. Most people won't last a year here. Some will be let go, others will leave by choice, and many will be laid off. There just isn't any long-term security... — read more
