Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Predict Intel Future?

No CEO can fix it. Engineering talent is long gone. Only fix is, get bought over by someone else! From buying other companies to getting bought over….that is what I predict for Intel. Nothing else will work. What y all think?

Long Live TSMC. Have you seen the chip plant in Phoenix?

Foundry will be broken out and may no longer be very much Intel.

Product groups will do what they can to keep x86 relevant, but will lose share over time to ARM. With the ability to use the latest node from TSMC or Foundry, they should be able to scale down to make a good profit margin.

Likely a lot of middle and upper management are slowly removed, as the company will no longer be a conglomeration. Many, many freeloaders at the top of the company making far too much salary.

The anthropologist maybe should dust off her resume.

Is Intel still paying will.i.am?

I think you lack any real understanding of the issues. You should probably stop embarrassing yourself.
