NEX was a trainwreck when I left Intel several years ago, I can't imagine that it's any better right now.

NEX has been positioned to be sold. The problem is that there's no incentive for anyone to buy it. So instead, execs will try to solicit outside investors to fund NEX, similar to what they did with Mobile Eye.
