7 attorneys and 2 support staff laid off all within an hour this morning. After we were reassured that the lay off would not happen.

Las Vegas staff counsel was cut in half. 5 attorneys let go. 2 secretary and office staff let go also.

Over half of the modeling department was laid off. These are the people who make the rating models and stuff.

Most claims staff are now being forced to work ICS. Have been told this will go on for several months at least. Geico also announced outsourcing some of the roles to international call centers… layoffs here we come…
